Brad Keselowski won a crazy race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday, getting the win in the Alabama 500. Keselowski's win was his fifth at the Alabama track.
Keselowski finished in first place, followed in the top five by Ryan Newman, Trevor Bayne, Joey Logano and Aric Almirola.
By the end of the wreck-laden race, only four NASCAR Playoffs drivers remained competing for the checkered flag: Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Larson.
That was a result of "The Big One" collecting 16 cars with 17 laps remaining, sparked by David Ragan turning while in traffic -- after being nudged from behind by the Cup standings lear Martin Truex Jr.
Six of the 12 playoff drivers competing for the championship were involved in the wreck, including significant damage to the Truex Jr., defending Talladega champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch.
In total, the race featured 16 different leaders, 14 cautions and three red flags.
